About me: I am an Accredited Registered Counsellor with over 10 years’ experience working with Individuals and Couples. I provide short and long term support depending on your needs and I use a variety of approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), systemic therapy and solution focused therapy. If you are unsure whether counselling is for you, I offer a free initial consultation so that we can meet and I can explain how counselling works.
When Counselling can help: Asking for support at times can be extremely scary. We are afraid we will be judged and that others will think we are weak. But asking for help can also be the best decision you will ever make! We all feel stuck sometimes: our past experiences or present events can make it difficult for us to make crucial decisions or to take steps which could significantly improve our quality of life.
Are you finding that, no matter what, you appear to make the same mistakes? Do you want to strengthen your relationship with your partner, create more harmony within your family or improve how you relate to the people around you at work? Do you find it difficult to voice your needs and be assertive at home, with friends or at work? Do you often worry about many things and find this is making you feel stressed a lot of the time?
I can help you clarify what is driving you and identify your goals for the future. Counselling will help you identify your strengths and build new life skills which will eventually become second nature to you.
