The Alexander Technique helps to improve posture, release muscle tension and relieve neck, joint and back pain. It is not a treatment for illness or pain, but it teaches you to bring awareness to your body and change the way you do things and this really can make you feel better.
In lessons, Judith works with everyday movements like sitting, standing and walking.
She gives guidance with her hands and uses verbal directions to help clients let go of tensions and start to move more freely. People enjoy the lightness and freedom they feel after an Alexander lesson and learn to take this into everyday life. Judith holds individual and small group sessions at Watson House and at her house in Heaton, Newcastle.
She has been teaching the Alexander technique for 25 years. Judith is a member of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (www.STAT.org.uk)
